That One Mistake
You can still
feel the effect of cataclysmic event that happened last year amongst the islanders.
No one would ever
think someone could wish this little paradise on earth and its friendly loving
inhabitants any harm.
After all the
religious ceremony performed, all the ritual prayers prayed, why them?
They need the
tourists to come back, their foreign money to survive. Their long-distance prayers,
while appreciated, has proven inadequate.
Why abandon the
island for a fault that is not their own?
Haven’t they
serve them soulfully all along?
Paradise Island
stared to the world in shock, the silence is deafening.
