I thought only biologist needs to do research.

Until my girlfriend ask me if her description of her main character’s child makes sense based on my knowledge of allele combinations.  

"I thought writers just imagine things, doesn’t have to be true, right?"

She said  “ Yes, in a perfect world. But nowadays, an American writer can be mistaken of insulting the Baishou Dance of native Tujia people, while in fact trying to express his fascination in his writings. We have to be extra careful. ”

“But down to the allele level??”
